This shoot was like taking a little stroll back in time. I’m lucky enough to know a gal that has that Audrey Hepburn quality… grace, style, and she’s one of those people that makes everyone smile. I love her vintage style. I seriously wish she could be my personal stylist, because she always looks so cute. We had great time trying different outfits and props. Her mom even had an old family typewriter she let us borrow. So cool!

I have this friend won the lottery. The boys with big brown eyes lottery. She has three boys and they all have the most beautiful big brown eyes. I love taking photos of them! Her youngest just makes my heart melt. So cute I can’t handle it.

This little family is one of my favorite to photograph in the world. When I was just starting out as a real business a few years ago my pal let me take photos of her gorgeous girls, and encouraged me to go for it. As some of my very first clients they hold a special place in my heart. On this shoot we discovered some bunnies hiding in the bushes. Those bunnies were very kind and sat there for a while. They let us get pretty close before dashing away.

Old Town Charm

Senior season is here! This gorgeous gal could definitely be a model. We had a great time running around Old Town. There was a beautiful shop entryway that was screaming for photos. It had chandeliers hanging from the eves… like it was made for her dress. She looked like a princess.

My adorable niece turned 4 and had a wonderful pinkalicious party! It was pink, pink pink. We read the “Pinkalicious” book, made wands, broke a piniata, ate pink cupcakes, almost blew away in the wind, and had an all together pinkaliciously fabulous time! You can tell by the “thumbs-ups” that even the boys had a great time. Can’t believe you are 4 beautiful girl!

I’ve been waiting to do a shoot with my adorable niece for months and months. I can’t stand that she lives so far away. She’s a brown-eyed, red haired, porcelain skinned beauty with the cutest little laugh in the world. Don’t you just want to snuggle her? Love you little girl!

In honor of the opening of “Senior Season,” I thought I’d share a fun Senior Session we did right before the weather turned cold. This gorgeous senior was a breeze to shoot. She even knew how to coordinate colors to accent the beautiful changing leaves!

Happy New Year!! I hope everyone has had a great first week of 2011. I’m still getting into the swing of writing 2011 on checks and in file-names. I usually get it down by about October. Here at Whimsical we have some great things planned for the new year. Watch for photographer tools, what-to-wear guides, and much, much more. In the mean time, enjoy this video.
